Hi,
I have a bad case of paranoia. If I were to install a drivechip, would Nintendo be able to detect it and detect if I were to play game backups?
Thanks.

As I know yes, they could be detected.
They way they work is that a special DVD sends information to the chip and recieve information from it.
So it would be possible that another channel (from Nintendo) could send information too. --> mod chip detected |

when you buy a modchip make sure it has a "stealth Mode" that means that nintendo cant detect it _________________ only you can prevent system fires! |

Backups are illegal, please don't discuss that here. _________________ ~Triforce~
