Has anyone had any success any permanently pairing the wiimote on Windows?

I can connect the wiimote without any problems, but without a Passcode haven't been able to get any of the Bluetooth stacks to create a permanent pairing and automatically connect when its switched on. It must be possible, it works on the Wii!

It only works on the Wii when you use the Sync button instead of 1+2.

I can't test it right now, but what youu are saying is if you use the sync button under the battery cover you've been able to create a permanent connection?

I'm saying that's the case on the Wii. Haven't tried it on the PC.

i haven't been able to create a perm connection to my wiimote.

the sync button might be writing data. who knows.
