Sorry your video as unwatchable... Did you get video streaming working, or just music? I was unable to get the video to work. It starts to load but never plays... _________________ -LiquidIce

I've been trying it and also been having trouble with video. Some videos have sound but the picture doesn't move... others have a moving picture, but no sound.
MP3s and internet radio works great though! |

It appears like the program is working on my computer. My network monitor is showing data being sent out. But the Wii is only giving me a page with code on it whenever I try to open video/music/webcam. Pictures work, but they are really small for some reason.
Can someone write up a walkthrough for us. Also including firewall and router settings. I think I have them all set up right, and I have the same problem with both set to allow everything.
And I am using version 2.0 of ORB
EDIT: I was able to get audio to work. It still skips, rarely but it does happen, and the audio might cut out. These are probably streaming problems and not problems with the program. Pictures are still really small and the play all audio tracks give me an invalid parameters message. Will check video and internet tv in a minute. Don't have a tv tuner so can't check that, but why would anyone use that anyway?
For now, if you are having the same problems I was, see above, on the wii when you are on the main page go to settings. Change the tab to stream and pick flash; then save and exit.
EDIT2: Internet TV doesn't seem to work, could just be the ones I tried though. Will try more later. Webcam works great. Starts out all stretched then goes to the right aspect ratio. The video is really small though and it is set to 640X480. Will update when I check other internet tv and video.
EDIT3: Last one today. Still no luck on internet tv stations, but that could be since they are wmv or real format. to get videos and audio files to play full screen you need to start them from a folder view. My audio was giving me some problems, and the video was really small, whenever I tried to start a file from a favorites folder. As for video, I can either get the audio to play great and the video is frozen, or the video is great and the audio is gone. Could be a setting on my end limiting the bandwidth or just lag from a wireless connection. If anyone gets them to work please post your settings and let us know what you did.
The one place that worked great was the webcam. The video was fullscreen, when ran from the tv menu, and the audio was great. Could be the lower quality of the stream that allowed it to go through. |
