http://www.wiili.org/index.php?title=OpenPIE

When I went to the wiki today, the OpenPIE entry consisted of only a link to the OpenPIE forum. It retains that and now has several other links to specific threads here as well as a basic description of the project. I encourage people who are following the project, but are--like me--not programmers, to assist in putting it's best face forward.

Especially since development is slow going (not a criticism) and the current devs are requesting help. While the only information to draw from is in this forum, and it might seem easier to just link here, organizing the information better will lead to a better and wider outside understanding of the project. Putting all of the relevant information in one place could lead to more people becoming aware of the project, and hopefully will draw additional developers. If you are a member of other related (linux, wii, gaming) forums where you can advertise the existence of the OpenPIE project (without spamming), I recommend it. A well-developed wiki entry can aid you in describing the advantages of a cross-platform open-source scriptable driver.

I'm no graphic artist, but it might also be nice if the project had a theme graphic, much like WiiLi does. I assume the devs wouldn't mind. If they like what you build, maybe they'll even integrate it, as the program's icon or something.

Off the top of my head, things to be added to the wiki:
*Catalog the feature requests in an organized, concise fashion under the feature requests header.
*Note the features the developers have already noted as ones they intend for the first/next release (this would probably be scattered, both in the original GP replacement thread and others) under the Progress header, and keep it up to date with their intentions regarding release dates (yes I realize that would be empty at the moment)
*Design a professional looking project theme graphic

Anyone have additional ideas for how to use the entry to promote the project? Other ideas for content?
