I was just reading about the WiiCade, and the little thread about it Here, and then some thought stroke me...
Once the drivers for wiimote and nunchuck (would be nice to have nunchuck drivers too ) are out, I think we can manage to develop a working API for Java or something(my bet is on java, because of the portability, but can be on C or C++), in order to create or modify some apps that fully take advantage of these.
Any thoughts?
I am very willing to help! Please Tuxido, tell me what you think. _________________ Not all mexicans enjoy tamales and piñatas, and tacos aren't really made that way!

I know that's the plan, but I don't know if there's any developer into it right now, I'm actually volunteering for the task (need all the help I can get anyway). On the other hand, Tuxido says that he needs more and more devs, but doesn't tell us to do a specific task... So we work on anything we can, even if that means more than one will be working on it sepparate ways at the same time?
I really think we need to get things organised in order to make this project go forth. _________________ Not all mexicans enjoy tamales and piñatas, and tacos aren't really made that way!

People are just hacking around at the moment. Making some basic process. We're waiting for a dedicated server to handle all the SVN/CVS traffic. That's when the serious business will start.
Remember, before we can code, we need to know how Wii works. |
