Has anyone come across any combination of software that enables use of the nunchuck's control stick (either full analog or digital control) under Mac OS X ?.. I have searched tirelessly, but there does not appear to be anything available under Mac OS X that does this..
My end goal is to be able to be able to use the Wiimote/nunchuck combination to play 3D emulated games (as well as regular 3D games) under OS X.. But without any support for the control stick, this is all but pointless to attempt with 3D games (but alright for 2D games which don't use a control stick)..
The closest thing I have come across is a program called OSCulator, which I have successfully gotten to READ INPUT from the nunchuck's control stick, but for some reason I can't get any OUTPUT from anything other than the Wiimote/nunchuck buttons (i.e. no motion, acceleration, control stick).. As a side note, has anyone experienced this problem with OSCulator (i.e. only OUTPUTTING commands from buttons, and nothing else), and possibly how to fix it ?...
...and even if I got OSCulator to execute OUTPUT based on the nunchuck analog stick's INPUT, from what I can tell it only reads absolute X or Y movement (i.e. it has no analog sensitivity, and cannot discriminate between XLeft-XRight or YLeft-YRight).. so it would not be suitable for use as a game control stick..
So I repeat.. Does anyone know of ANY way to get analog or digital functionality for the nunchuck control stick under OS X ?.. Ideally I would like full analog support, but would be willing to have simple digital control to map the control stick's directions to the keyboard arrows or WASD keys.. |
