the motion sensors are sensors that mesure the acceleration of the Wiimote (and consequently the gravity), it also allows software to know which way is down, how the Wiimote is rotated in realtion tot he down direction
the IR sensor is aan infra-red camera in front of the Wiimote that tracks IR "dots" with that data it is possible to know more or less the position of the Wiimote in relation to the dots (the wiimote can track up to 4 dots at once, more than that will make it a bit crazy, switching among the extra dots randomlly), lots of Scripts(and programs) use are meant to work with 2 dots, a few are meant to be used with one dot only and those that use more then 2 dots are very rare currently _________________ please put the scripts on the wiki so they dont get lost as new stuff is posted!

soo that means you dont need a wii sensor bar to use some basic turning for wii?
and a further question how hard is it to make a wii sensor bar of your own with like 2 or 4 leds i have seen some pics and vids about it getting done and i have olso seen an video of using living lights but i dont want to do that
..
so one question has been gladly helped and now we add 2 extra questions about wii sensor bar and how to make an own sensor bar and the first question about how to get the dbt 122 to work properly
edit: Ah and one more thing.
Is it possible to instead of dismmentle a remote control and take the ir leds you can put some batteries in the remote and have them up on your computer? |

I made a small howto about building a simple sensor bar, read the warnings there (it wasn't made with safety, energy eficiency nor enhacing the lifetime of the componentd in mind)
http://www.wiili.org/index.php/Building_Simple_Sensor-Bar
I hope this helps _________________ please put the scripts on the wiki so they dont get lost as new stuff is posted!

Yeah about the sensor bar it is just a couple of ir led's right so cant i use 2 remote controls witch i then put on some tape on a button so it is on all the time and simply take it off when i dont play.
Wouldnt that work?
It is 2 ir leds in each remote but does it work?
That is for you guys to answer
And the most inportant thing i need an answer on is error 5 becouse i cant do anything with the wiimote else >.< |

go into a program like WiimRemote or on GlovePIE with the Wiimote test scritp loded and press buttoms on your remote with it infront of thw wiimtoe and see if the system detects anything
edit: but most likelly if you get a steady enough shine from the remote ir led it shoudl work _________________ please put the scripts on the wiki so they dont get lost as new stuff is posted!
