The following is what someone who cares would say:

Most people are looking at this thread because they're morbidly curious as to what the hell it's doing in this section. Posting it in this forum to get more attention is kinda bad form and completely negates any semblance of structure this message board has, which is admittedly very little.

It's a valid point, but then again, I don't care.

I'm a mod on another forum with a lot more traffic than this one, and let me tell you: order does matter. General Discussion does not mean you can talk about anything. It means you can talk about "News and Gossip," as indicated by its subheading. Is this a breaking news event? No, I think not.

TylerK put it quite nicely. The only difference is, I do care. Imagine if all of those script threads in the Scripts forum were posted here. We wouldn't be able to read any of that "News and Gossip" then would we? Scripts would keep getting bumped to the top (because, to be honest, there are far more script threads than news threads). If you make an exception for one person, why not everyone? There can be no exceptions. This belongs in Scripts.

EDIT: typo

...or people could grow some BRAINS and learn how to post something in the CORRECT forum. It may not seem like a big deal at first, but if we didn't discourage people from doing stuff like this it would establish a precedent. Before you know it we'd have scripts scattered about 10 different subforums, making it even more difficult for people to find the scripts they're interested in.

Think about it this way. If this was posted in the correct forum, we wouldn't even be wasting time on this discussion right now.

I only posted here because few people check the scripts forum. Beside this is the general discussion forum isn't it? Hence you can talk about anything here.

Besides I'm not stealing attention from anyone else's posts. This topic has been the most viewed for 2 and a half days. Nobody clearly has anything better to say.

A few?? A FEW???
Dude, if there were only a few people checking that forum, I wouldn't be here. Hence the freaking reason people are looking at your topic the most, is because what Tylerk said, and who would want to see another Itunes script?
There are already like 20 of them already.

Great script!! unfortunately you left out the play/pause vbs script from the file you stuck up on rapidshare. I found it though after a quick search on google.
