|
|
I cut the cord and extend it with a wire in the past.
Suddenly, it won't works (no pointer when play with my WII).
I openned the bar and find that no light was on.
Anything may be wrong? How can I fix it?
p.s. i already brought a cheap 3rd party one. But I want to make the official one work again. Thx for your attention. |

i dont have a sensorbar, so i dont know whats in it besides the leds..
if you find a chip in there,or more then a few wires leading there within the cable, then its better not to do any of my suggestions..if its only leds and 2 wires then read on:
you should open it up and measure if theres electricity at the first connectors after the wires leave the cable.
if not, then the problem is probably in your wii..it can be solved by checking the colors of the cablesconnected to the leds, cutting the cable that leads to the wii, and connect a adapter or battery on it with an equivilant power the wii would provide...google it.
If there is electricity on the cables, just measure the leds individually as they can be set in series..in that case, 1 broke = all broke..and replace it with radioshack ir led. |

Please don't gravedig. This topic is almost half a year old. Your post doesn't have any particularly new or innovative information to justify reviving this post. iLock. _________________ Cha0s |
