Strange... does your MMD is compatible with DS Lite ? And if you can, try with another CF card.

yes the one i bought said that it was compatible with NDS-Lite, but yeah it prob is my CF. I just went out and spent quite a penny to pick up an 8gb CF its a SanDisk Ultra II or somthing so now that u say that it must be the problem, but the problem is have is that on the MM-box it said that it was compatible with 8gb, but if it doesn't work i guess ill jus use the CF for storage for Ubuntu "Feisty Fawn" 7.0.4! wOOt!

I'm not all that much familiarized with flash cards and alike, woudl it be possible to format and/or repartition it so it was small enough to be compatible? or am I talking nonsense here?

Yeah I read on on other forums that you might need to flip the CF around. Which sadly I have done and once again whenever i boot it up i still get two blank white screens. So now I really think it is just that the CF is not compatible with the MMD or my NDS is too recent???
