Developing a Liinux driver for the Wii's Wiimote, Nunchuck and sensor bar is a big part of Wiili.

Once we get done with this, as an alternative we can use a regular Computer with Linux installed and a Wiimote to play games like CS, Warcraft, etc.. or just interact with Linux in ways never seen before. Very Happy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PpIhoLzDOTY

I just had this idea and wanted to share it with you.

Hopefully this will attract the attention of more developers; we really need a lot of help!

oooooo! Sounds cool. Really looking forward to being able to use the Wiimote as a pointer on WiiLi... that'll just be plain awesome!

I wonder if the Wii Remote will be picked up by a bluetooth enabled computer. If not, I'm sure someone will make an adapter (though Lik-Sang is out of business)

Also, no offense to Linux, but there should be a Windows (and OSX) driver too! Cross-compatibility ftw! I want to play some Star Fox 64 with the remote Smile

WOW! that 2nd video... that was truly amazing and I would LOVE to have that OS. I would assume something like that will go on sale in someting like 28 years lol. Simply amazing, and to think... wiimotes can actually simulate that person's fingures, imagine having something like 2 friends using a wiimote in each hand, or 4 friends using one wiimote each just simply manipulating lava! The cool thing about this is that it could be programmed on the computer since the wii cursor will actually act as a mouse! If I were a programmer... I would definetley look into this. I was VERY impressed when I saw that video.

You could do some crazy things with a wiimote in any situation.
