You can't really MAKE a game in GlovePIE. At least not in version 0.29. In 0.30 you will be able to make a game, but it still won't be very good.
You can CONTROL some online multiplayer games with GlovePIE. But some other games have anti-cheat protection that won't let you control them with GlovePIE or with anything else. Some multiplayer games consider it cheating to control a game with a script
So it depends on the game. |

But, if your controlling the game via your wiimotes then they cant seriously count that as cheating... can they??
I would consider it harder to use the wiimotes in some ways!
I was looking forward to giving my mates a good point-and-shoot thrashing |

| the game cannot detect what other tools your glovepie script is interfacing with. it will only see the script from glovepie and either ban you or ignore you depending on the settings. |

I'd agree with Dr Cuddles, it isn't cheating. But some online games are very strict, because somebody could theoretically cheat by doing the same sorts of things that GlovePIE does.
Lots of online multiplayer games will work fine with it though. |

if the game allows mutiple (simulatenouis or otherwise) players in the same computer, and the inputs for those playwers can be emulated by GlovePIE I see no reason why it wouldn't be possible
but if you want to play anything that might get you into trouble for not using "regular" computer input devices I woudl suggest you to only try it after getting a written and public permission from anyone who might be entitled to ban you for doing so..... _________________ please put the scripts on the wiki so they dont get lost as new stuff is posted!
phpBB doesnt like me,somtimes it will forget to warn me about new replies to threads I asked it to,if you see a thread I should have responded, could please email me? |
