Ive been trying all day to get my wiimote to work with my PC. ive browsed these forums for a couple hours looking at others with similar problems but have not been able to solve my own.
Im using bluesoleil. i can get my wiimote to connect to my PC no problem. Im trying to used the Ultimate4PlayerPPJoy scrpt. ive followed all the instructions in the .rar file regarding the mappings in ppjoy. when i run the script and try to assign buttons to my emulator, everything immediatly tries to be assigned to JoyUp.
Ive also tried running the test script. nothing happens.
please help ASAP
after futher testing, ive found that all my buttons get mapped to JoyUP even if my wiimote isnt connected. i began trying scripts that didnt use with ppjoy. all the mouse scripts just sent my cursor to the furthest corners of the screen and allowed for no control via wiimote. Im giving up for tonight. please post possible solutions.
Ok so i figured out why everything was being mapped to joyup. it was because of a program that i had running in the background that lets me use my psp controller (wifi controller for any of you in the psp homebrew scene). after disabling that, my buttons dont get mapped to joyup. now the problem is they dont get mapped to anything.
ive noticed that while im in the status screen of bluesoleil, everytime i push a button on the wiimote a chuck of data is recieved, so i think my problems lie somewhere within glovepie. i also remember reading somewhere that the LED's shouldnt be flashing as if the wiimote is in discover mode when you run scripts; however mine still do. |
