|
|
Sorry if this has been asked before, I'm new here.
I've been following some of the articles given here and I now have a pretty stable C++ class which successfully connects to the wii remote. I've manged to link the controller to my opengl particle engine.
Anyway, my question is this, My software is quite capable of detecting Pitch, Yaw and Roll of the controller, but what I also want is to detect the x,y,z movements of the controller, I'm lefted puzzled on how to do this?
Is the wii controller actually capable of detecting six axis's of movement or have I missed something? Is this the function of the sensor bar and IR camera in the remote?
Thanks in advance, if somebody can help!
(I would of included a link to a video and exe file, but the forum won't let me, understandably, as its my first post ) |

a while back someone here told me about a technique with a formula with statstics and stuff I think, but I forgot the name, it is somthing used in lots of stuff that has much imprecision on the instrument (that is all I remember sorry I couldn't be more specific)
also, there are some people that have managed to use the raw data to measure movements with a certain degree of precision, but in a more limited way _________________ please put the scripts on the wiki so they dont get lost as new stuff is posted!
