| Crap, I was afraid of that. I was hoping there would be a fancy pants way to calculate an offset of some kind and find the memory within the rom... within the emulator. I can live without it obviously. Would've opened some possibilities here and there, but being able to check for pixels opens enough of them to keep me busy for quite awhile. |

nice job, and a great idea, been messing around with this with mario kart 64, if your in 5th, 6th, 7th, or 8th place during a race the wiimote rumbles, in 5th it rumbles a little and in 8th it rumbles at full rumble
i had a similar idea to use certain sounds to trigger the wiimotes rumble, like a loud explosion sound would make the wiimote rumble alot, i started working on it a couple days ago, but then i had a problem with my wiimote, which is now fixed, so ill get back to working on it, but the way i have it you need to have a sound blaster sound card, cause the drivers for it have a way that makes glovepie able to "hear" what comes out of the speakers, it basically sends the sound coming out to the microphone, i used to use it to play music over teamspeak/vent channels, as long as you unmute the mic you can hear the sound to, which means youll be able to hear any sound that goes into the mic as well, but you can just unplug the mic and it still works, i havent gotten to far on the script yet though |

| I have been planning to add a way of GlovePIE detecting what sound is playing out the speakers. But that is tricky. I can either do it by setting the record input to the sound-card's output, or by hooking into the sound output functions in other programs. The first way causes problems with the speech recognition and with any programs wanting to use the microphone, and the second way causes system instability and a fundamental design change in GlovePIE. |

make it an option, when its on the mic and speech stuff is disabled, when its off the mic and speech stuff is enabled
scripts that use sound detection just wont be able to use the mic and speech |
