This trick is a godsend!

However, when I use it in a batch file or even on its own, the remote's four LEDs won't stop blinking as if in "discovery mode" even if a GlovePIE script is started. It happens whether the script has LED scripting or not. The only way I've found to stop the blinking is to run a GlovePIE script, then stop the script, then re-run the script again.

Is there a way to fix this using DOS switches/commands, or a way to automate a workaround?

Any help is much, much appreciated!

latelly for me I can't just run any script, I need to use a script that actually has led functions in it to be able to get them to stop :/

Exactly, this is just what I have had to do too -- the script I've been running, stopping, then re-running has LED functions which are ignored during the first run but work properly after stopping and re-running.

Not even this works for me, they keep blinking and ignore commands from glovepie.

What about in Vista?

I just got a laptop with Vista (couldn't avoid it Crying or Very sad) and have the latest Bluesoleil installed...

On my pc (XP Smile) I used this fix and it worked, now that I've moved all my stuff over on my laptop it doesn't seem to work...

I noticed that in the folder"C:\Program Files\IVT Corporation\BlueSoleil"
the file "gprs.exe" isn't to be found any more... Could this be the problem?
If so, how do I fix it?

I get the constant flashing lights even when i run a script in GlovePIE with a light script.

I have to run, then stop, then run again to sort it out.

How do i get rid of the effects this batch file has had? its a pain in the arse!

Just run a script, then stop it, and it's gone...
It happens all the time with me too, there's nothing else to do...
I think it's because, when you press 1 and 2, the lights start blinking, and when it's connected, it's no going to change the lights, unless it's told to...
