here is a sugestion on how to be able to use the IR functionality while using the wiimote pointing up (for example if you want to use it as the yoke of a plane) without needing to put a sensor bar int he ceiling
the idea basicl yis to attach a small mirror infron of the sensor port on the wiimote, at an angle of 45 degrees (you can try other angles to fit beter your purposes, I tested it with a hand mirror I had at hand and at least with mirrors made of the same material as mine (I dunno what material it is, it is made of glass a refelctive layer and an opaquelayer behind the reflective layer) it does work perfectly, once I finallyget my machine fit enough to run a flight simulator i'll see if i'm able to make a script for usign the wiimote as a yoke with it in the normal position, and after that might try the yoke style control type
follows a drawing of the sugested adaptation:
| Code: |

.--. \ \'----------------- Mirror

`--' ,------\ `.

unfortunatly i'm not familiarised withthose games (yet), but afaik there is no way to get absolute positioning data, nor yaw with glovepie without using the ir dots... _________________ please put the scripts on the wiki so they dont get lost as new stuff is posted!
