I've been playing some games on Wiicade and also plyed DN3D and it seems that either the wiimote is quite anti-ergonomic or that I have a high propension of getting cts, any sugestions to help with this?

Wiimotes only lead to CTS if you use them.. wrong. Don't just flick your wrist, use your elbow too.
