Ok so lets just say i got the adapter, I have glove pie, i have 2 candles on my comp, how does the wiimote know to go into the computer? do i need infared ports or something?...

you connect the wiimote to the computer via bluetooth
to get the infrared dots information to the computer you need to have a program there that will read that info once thw wiimote is conected (like WiinRemote or GlovePIE with a script that uses the infrared info, to test wiimote stuff you can use the wiimote test script found the the gpie root folder)

You really really should read the wiki. if you would just go through the information there all your questions would be answered. you might even gain a basic understanding of how to code and how bluetooth works.

There are answers there to everything you want to know. Seriously, it is not that hard to do and it will be an entertaining read, plus no one will be tempted to call you a n00b anymore.
