Posted: Mon Feb 05, 2007 11:01 pm Post subject: How do you have a Nunchuck Axis HOLD DOWN a button?? HELP!!! |
|
|
What i want is to have it so that everytime I raise (NOT FLICK) the Nunchuck (pitch) straight up, that a key on the keyboard (or PPJOY button) will be KEPT PRESSED until I lower the Nunchuck back down.
I want to use this for a Super Punch OUT (on an SNES emulator)script i made. Everything else works great, but i want it so that it plays kind of like Wii sports Boxing. For now i just hold the B button to keep your gloves up.
When the Remote and Nunchuck are held straight up, this will then keep the SNES "up" control held down (this keeps your gloves up). When the Remote and Nunchuck come down to being close to or past level then the SNES "up" control will be released (this puts your gloves at your body).
I know how to use the axis's mostly, but not how to keep any button or key HELD DOWN.....
PLEASE HELP!!! |

You should be able to keep it held down by assigning the pitch to the key.
| Code: | | Key.Up = Wiimote.Nunchuk.Pitch > 40 |

| This seems to only push it once instead of keeping it down.... |

| Make sure you try it in the game. It will look like the key was just pressed once if you try it in Notepad, but in game it should keep the button held down. Worked for me in two emulators and two PC games. |

| I am getting very sick of people saying it won't hold down keys just because it doesn't do the key repeat in notepad. |

Hehe...sorry Carl. I can imagine your frustration with A LOT of people doing the same thing. When i tried it in SPO, i thought it wasn't working until i realised the boxer doesn't raise his gloves until AFTER you throw the punch.
Now i have it working great! Thanks again guys.... |
