The MP3 player thing is nuts, yes. With a sufficiently programmable cell phones (there are a few that even run python!), I suspect one could control the Wiimote. Not sure what you would do with it. Remote ringer is possible, remote earpiece would be silly since there is no mic.
Would be a fun tech demo, though. Python for the Nokia S60-series phones has a Bluetooth module that you could implement it with. |

Take a bluetooth cellphone and dump it in the wii mote. Wire between the cellphone an the wiimote and done. You got a wiimote, with alot of functions. Unfortunatly thats easier said than done
Any techs wanna try this? |

| From playing Super Monkey Ball:BB I know that it has to be streamed. The Trombone mini-game plays a constant and constantly changing sound over the remote's speaker. I would love to get audio streaming over it. |
