I have a couple questions that might sound stupid...
1.)Do i need a sensor bar to use my wiimote on my computer.
2.)Does the sensor bar have to connect to my computer.
3.)is there anywhere i could buy a sensor bar that would work on my computer or are there easy inexpensive instructions anywhere |

1.) Unless you want to use the pointer function of the wiimote on your computer, you do not need a sensor bar.
2.) No, the sensor bar plugs into your Wii
3.) You can buy one on Gamestop for $20 (http://www.gamestop.com/product.asp?product%5Fid=802612)
, Or make your own (http://www.wiili.org/forum/*easy*-wireless-stock-ir-bar-without-cutting-it-t2238.html). _________________ Want free MS Points? http://freem1spoints.vndv.com/index.html |

hi
i understand that the sensor bar only needs 5VDC from USB port.
so, there is no difference between plugging PC and plugging Wii, i think. _________________ Classiclll |

Another noobish Q, if I am reading correct, all the sensor bar does is sending IR light, and the Wii remote is picking up on that and provides some 3D space data (or do we have to use some trigonometry?) sounds very intersesting to have that running.
Love the glovepie forum btw, been reading my brains off!! |

Just as a tip you don't need to go out and buy a sensor bar at all, the sensor bar that comes with the Wii can be used (if your Wii is close to your computer or u move it). The wiimote sends and receives the data, the sensor bar is just a fixated point for the wiimote. Buying and making your own sensor bar is just for convenience sake, but if your up for it def. go about building your own because it is worth it. _________________ Wii Materials
