Today I drove to my mom's house and port scanned my Wii from my mandriva box. Here's my console output
| Code: | [mark@localhost ~]$ nmap 192.168.2.4
Starting Nmap 4.20 ( http://insecure.org ) at 2007-08-31 16:31 EDT
All 1697 scanned ports on 192.168.2.4 are closed
Nmap finished: 1 IP address (1 host up) scanned in 15.299 seconds
[mark@localhost ~]$ |
So as you can see, none of the ports it scanned are open. Not exactly a big shocker, but thanks for the suggestion |

You'd have to be playing a network game or downloading something from the shop channel and scan during those processes to see what's open.
EDIT: Portscanned during Strikers:
Port: 21 (File Transfer [Control])
Port: 110 (Post Office Protocol - Version 3)
Also the game disconnected with a data error after the scanner program reached around port 1023... _________________ Java Coder... oh god...
