| I was just looking at the wiki, and noticed the lack of any rotation data. Is there no gyroscope in the Wii Remote? Is the way to calculate rotation using the acceleration sensors and gravity? |

| Yeah, all the data you need to find the orientation of the Wii-Mote at nay given time can be found by reading the accelerometer data. |

There are no Gyros, and it is impossible to calculate Yaw based on gravity.
You can use the Sensor Bar to calculate Yaw, but only for small angles and only with line of sight.
The Wiimote kind of sucks in that regard. Seems a bit like false advertising. |

| It is possible to calculate yaw. That's a common misinterpretation. The only way it couldn't calculate yaw is if the yaw axis were perpendicular to gravity. Any other angle will allow it to calculate rotation. However, the closer to perpendicular, the less "resolution" it will have. |
