|
|
Hey guys, I used to use GlovePIE with an IOGear bluetooth adapter to play Frets on Fire with my Wii GH3 Guitar on my old Windows XP PC. I got a new HP dv6810us laptop running Vista Home Premium 32 bit recently, and I've been trying to get GlovePIE to work with it with no luck. I can get the laptop's built in bluetooth to recognize and connect to the wiimote just fine, but no matter what script I try GlovePIE won't accept any wiimote input.
I tried to use my IOGear adapter on my laptop, but I couldn't get that to work either. I plugged in the adapter and inserted the driver CD, but when I try to install the Vista drivers it says:
"A later version of 'HP Integrated Module with Bluetooth wireless technology 6.0.1.5500' is already installed on this machine. The setup cannot continue."
All I can do from there is press OK and exit the installer.
Any idea what could be wrong, and what I can do to fix it?
Thanks! |

| I tried uninstalling my HP bluetooth and installing the drivers from the CD to no avail. The wiimote will still connect and be recognized by windows, but it still won't be recognized by GlovePIE. Any other ideas? |

Any other ideas? | try again and again and again? basically, for me, i have no consistency for when it'll work. sometimes it will, usually it won't. sometimes one controller will work while another wont... its all hit or miss with me |
