| To answer to what Carl said about Israel occupying Syria, it has been in the Golan Heights for 37 years. Those who fled after Syria attacked Israel were screwed by their own government. A country can't expect to team up with many others against a much smaller one, lose to it badly, and expect to keep all of its territories especially if they contain a military base. If Canada attacked the United States, it would take no mercy and excessively kill Canadians let alone take some ground. What the U.S. is doing to Iraq is much worse than taking control of a small area, especially if it's been turned from an army base to some peaceful villages. I'm not going to talk about the twin towers and how the United States reacted, but it did much worse than occupy some territory. |
