|
|
Hello guys, i've got a problem.
Im using a targus bluetooth dongle 2.0 and everything works fine. I Use widcomm drivers, cause bluesoleil doesnt work with this dongle.
I managed it to connect my wiimote to the bluetoothstick and its shown by the 2 green arrows and the lights are always flashing.
Now i tried to use some scripts in GlovePIE but neither one works with the wiimote and it seems like he didnt recognize my wiimote.
I clicked on CP-Settings/Bluetooth but seems like it only works when you have bluesoleil cause he doesnt open widcomm interface.
I really dont have any idea how to make it work, i tried to callibrate and i klicked on Bluetooth-Fix and everything and i tried so many scripts, especially drum scripts and read all toutorials but still nothing.
Does somebody of you has got any idea, i hope you can fix my problem. |

According to the compatibility page, you should have installed the default bluetooth drivers off the cd that came with the device. If you installed newer drivers from the website it might not work.
If the bluetooth device page shows everything working but glovepie isn't working, check to see if glovepie is seeing your wiimote as 1 or 2 player. Find a simple led script and change wiimote to wiimote1 and test then change to wiimote2 and test. I use the widcomm stack on one of my pcs and it switches from 1st to 2nd player sometimes in glovepie. If glovepie sees your wiimote as the 2nd player, then you would need to go through the scripts you use and change all wiimote or wiimote1 to wiimote2.
I would think the drum scripts would use more than 1 wiimote so you should still be getting something even if only 1 was working. So I would try to reconnect your wiimote to the system. Or reinstall the bluetooth drivers from the cd. Or use the built in windows drivers. Though before all that make sure you are clicking on the run button at the top and try other wiimotes. |

| i have the same exact problem. if i use the old drivers from the cd everything works great except whenever my system reboots it won't boot as long as the dongle is connected then once in windows if i connect the dongle it freezes and crashes. this is due to the windows vista i have on the new system. in order to fix it i have to completely uninstall my bluetooth stuff and drivers and reinstall to get it working again so i downloaded the vista drivers from the website which does not install a my bluetooth places and during the only way you can connect it doesn't offer a pairing of any kind just the passkey feature. with the new drivers installed it will connect to the wiimote fine except glovepie doesn't work with it the most i have gotten is the led part of my scripts to run with bluetooth fix checked but no keys or mouse with it at all on either setting. |

ok here is 2 possible fixes that i have gotten to work with vista and the targus adapter
1. don't download the targus website drivers go to broadcom and download the newest ones there.. then you HAVE to run bluetooth fix and you HAVE to manually recalibrate the wiimote to get it to work.
2. which i am still testing this out but i am trying the install for the cd which workeds fine till reboot except this time i copied the cd to my hd and set the inst app to run in windows xp sp2 compatability mode by right clicking the file going to properties and clicking on the compatability tab.
(i have found that 90% of my games/programs/and drivers that don't work right in vista work just fine running it in compatability mode)
hope this helps you. |
