Do we need scripts like "Carl's Best IR Mouse" now that GlovePIE directly supports Wiimote.PointerX/PointerY?

Is the old script better/more accurate than the new method?

The pointer movement is just a function that can be adapted into various scripts. Carl's mousing script is an example of one (with additional features like freezing movement for double-clicking).
