|
|
Hi all,
I have a script that is rather big, about 145k, about 6000 lines of code, and is heavily commented.
It uses the Wiimote, and is that big because it handles powerpoint, ultraedit, firefox, mindmanager, vlc player, km player, miro, and other programs
Script compile time i.e. before running / check for errors time:
glovepie 0.29 - about 1 to 2 seconds
glovepie 0.30 - 1 min, 47 secs
At the moment, this makes my script completely useless in 0.30
So, I can't release this script for 0.30, even though features in 0.30 would be perfect for the script (active window)
There seems to be no *.ini file I can edit, and no settings I can alter in glovepie 0.30 to speed it up
Any ideas would be more than welcome |

did you all ready try going to windows task manager and the processes and ending the ones that's you are very sure that you don't need running
also try to stop anti virus while you are working on the script then start it back up after you are done |

thanks for the reply, but 0.29 version didn't have this problem, even a program with only 2 lines of code + a lot of cooments (100 lines for test) has the same program
I think there must be changes in the way lines are processed
Computer, there are not many processes running
pentuim 4, prescott, 3.2GHz, 2gb ram, water-cooled |

| Well I'm semi good at writing scripts, but not at the inner workings of glovepie. You'll have to talk to carl kenner for that. |
