Sushi, GlovePIE has absolutely nothing to do with Linux, and the only connection to wiili is easy experimenting with scripts.
Other than that, I agree.
Carl, why do you even CARE if you don't look at it clearly |

| Glovepie or some form of it will probably be used in the final Wiili or at least the pc version, correct? So it does have to do with it. And even if it won't be directly used, to test drivers and anything remote based you'd need to use it. In short, if it's to be used in an open source project such as Wiili, should GlovePIE not be completely open? Such as most software designed for any linux distro is? |

Blocking a country from using your program is pretty horrible. Why are you using sweeping generalizations? What if Sushi Pillow wants to end the occupation? You're denying him/her because of what the majority of Israel believes. You're just going to make the 5 Israelis who download this program think "Wow, this guy doesn't have a grasp on the issue if he's resorting to this." Imagine if some French guy made a program and denied US citizens access to the program because he felt that the US should leave Iraq. Do you think he knows the political system better than we do?...well maybe more than some in the South. Why don't you go down there and join the force if you believe in it so much? And more importantly, why are you angry at the side you're rallying for? Talk about a convoluted conumdrum.

Seriously, he has the right to put whatever the hell he wants on his website and yes, while you also have the right to complain about it, wouldn't it make more sense to do it somewhere else? |
That's a terrible argument. Yes, he does have the right to put whatever he wants on his website, but then you say it wouldn't make much sense if we argued against it. Sure it's a forum about Wiimote hacks, but when you're denying an entire country from using it because of your opinion, then you're going to arouse conflict. You can't have an opinion without it being arguable. |

Hmmm... Not sure what the problem with the classic controller is. I don't have a classic controller.
Do any of the classic controller values work?
The classic controller detection code obviously works since it is not being mistaken for a nunchuk.
Wiimote.Classic.Byte8 to Wiimote.Classic.Byte13 contain the important values (the other bytes contain nothing, since I am no longer reading straight from memory) which have now been fixed up with the xor 0x17 + 0x17 treatment. Do the values in these bytes correspond to the values listed on the http://www.wiili.org/Classic_Controller page? |

| Oh, and to answer the earlier question that I missed, Israel has occupied parts of Syria since 1967, when it ethnically cleansed the Golan Heights of 90% of its population and established Israeli settlements and military bases there. Most of the Golan Heights is in Syria, although the Sheeba Farms are in Lebanon. |
