I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I don't know of any better.
I just got my bluetooth adapter this morning and have started playing with my Wiimotes using it (can't wait to have some fun with Wiimote+Laptop+TV-out+Emulator). I have the BlueSoleil drivers installed and am running the latest GlovePIE on a Dell Latitude D505.
If I start any PIE script that involves mouse control, then when I stop that script I can no longer tap-to-click on my touchpad.
It seems that whatever GlovePIE is doing when it stops simulating mouse input also blocks the touchpad drivers from providing that simulation for taps. The standard mouse-click button and the other mouse gestures (scrolling, back/forward action) all continue to work, but after stopping the GlobePIE script I can no longer tap to click.
The only way that I've found to restore the touchpad tap-to-click functionality is by restarting the computer.
Thanks |

That is weird. Maybe Carl can tell you why that happens? Anybody else using a laptop having the same issue? _________________ -deceased-

Something weird is going on with it, I'm still not sure exactly what.
I started playing with one of the PIE scripts that does not involve any mouse input events, and since activating that the touchpad is now working again (regardless of whether I start or stop the script).
It seems that whenever a script is stopped that simulates mouse-click events the touchpad tap-to-click stops working. Loading a script that does not simulate the mouse though appears to undo the damage. |

I did notice that when I would have a script running the click on my mouse (whether it be laptop click/tap or external mouse) would not work until i stopped the script. I don't know if it's because I'm using different versions, but it doesn't happen any more
(oh and I was also using a Toshiba Satellite) |

I hope you don't mind me Hijacking your thread but I am asking the same question (kind of).
I have a nimbus bluetooth usb adapter (with BlueSoleil drivers) which is plugged into my dell e1705 (inspiron 9400). I can enable my wiimote with glove pie, but unlike digi here my touchpad works. unfortunantly, my wiimote wont do IR tracking or xcelerometer things (tilting the wii remote).
(the wii does allow mouse click binding, but not x/y 'tracking')
My touchpad is "Synaptics PS/2 Port Pointing device"
I guess what I'm asking how to disable it without uninstalling it? _________________ rattle |

| Try changing the Troubleshooter > Bluetooth fix menu. It should usually be unchecked for BlueSoleil. |
