Hi!
I'm very interested in your work (I'm doing something similar with the WiiMote, but I have used other statistical classifiers for gesture recognition and I'd like to add HMMs).
What HMM library do you use? Could you send me some code?
Thanks in advance
Best regards.

Hi there!
My name is Benjamin and I'm from a german university. During the last month I've also developed a gesture recognition library based on Hidden-Markov-Models. it works fine with the wiimote and is written in java, but still very performant. I've reached recognition rates up to 95%, average (evaluated with 6 persons) 90%. A technical paper have been accepted for TEI Conference in Bonn, Germany.
But now the interesting stuff for you: I decided to release my library as open source on wiigee dot sourceforge dot net (spam protection, cant post u r l). Its not very well documentated but i'm working on this. maybe i'll soon add a GUI for use with this library. Till then feel free to play around with this lib and let me know what you think about it. If i know what could be better i'm able to fix it, so please message me.
Have fun. Regards

Hi BePo!!
I'll take a look, it sounds very interesting (I hope to learn how to use HMMs, because the papers that I have read are too teorical). Anyway, my developments are coded in C++, so I'm afraid that I won't be able to use it in my Apps .
Thanks a lot and continue working hard, your lib will be very useful for a lot of people !!
Best regards.
G.
Ps: Sorry for my English xD. |

Hi!
Subdomains on SF only work without "www" in front of the project-name. So please try
http://wiigee.sourceforge.net/
