Few months ago i went through troubles trying to use wiiremotej with the bluesoleil stack and bluecove.

Things have probably greatly improved since.

But at that time, i was fed up so i started to make my own java API.

The particularity of my java API is that it is on top the Wiiuse C API, which has quite a good compatibility with windows stacks !!!!

So if you still have some issues, please try WiiuseJ

http://wiiusej.googlecode.com/

WiiuseJ is a java API to use wiimotes on your computer. This API is built on top of an excellent API called Wiiuse using JNI.

WiiuseJ intents to be a very simple, easy to use and lightweight java API for wiimotes.

Some of the great aspects of this API are :

* The compatibility which is as large as Wiiuse's API compatibility
* Cross-platform : Windows and linux (like Wiiuse)
* Easy to use

i know this is some advertisements, but it might help some people having compatibility issues ... Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

i did answer. But i'm not exactly sure which value you need. Try the test GUI of wiiuseJ the you'll be sure you get all values from the wiimote.

guiguito: It all sounds promising, but currently I'm a lot busy with the Balance Board. How is the support for a Balance Board in WiiuseJ?
