I hate that movie. Anyways the wii controller would be a great device for testing your high performace upgrades to your car.
with the right algorithms you could test for:
1/4mile times
0-60 times
60-0 braking
maximum turning/braking Gs
Estimated BHP
and probably a heck of alot more...

| Sure but... why use the wiimote for this? Why not get a better accelerometer with just one axis? (Well... two if you want to measure forces sideways, but still you get my point) |

| Sure but... I'm quite sure the data would be half-crappy. (I currently see the bluetooth as something negative. Screw you Windows Bluetooth API!) |

| would be nice, just pair it to a bluetooth pda/phone to read the data... Hell glovepie should even be able to do it, accuracy is another question... |

| cant the wiimote only read upto 3G? which is like 29.4ms^-2. I guess that should be good enough... |
