Has anyone successfully extracted Miis from their Wiimote using GlovePIE 0.25?
I don't have any Miis on my Wiimote (no Wii), so I can't really test it myself.
You should get 10 .mii files with the name of your Mii, or names like mii0.mii if the mii name contains non ascii characters.
If Mii extraction is working, you can upload your Miis to the Mii Transfer Station if you want to share them. http://www.feelthissite.com/sitedude/wii/miis/
Anyway, I'd like to know if it works. |

It worked on one of my wiimotes.
The names of the first 4 were the names of the mii's, and the other 6 were generic numbered names, since those slots are blank.
It didn't work on my other wiimote though.
Oddly enough, that wiimote only works in scripts if I use wiimote2.* instead of just "wiimote", even if it's the only one connected. The one that worked with the miis works with "wiimote" and "wiimote1".
It's a very nice feature. Has there been any progress on uploading mii's? |

I want to try it but I'd need to find the Microsoft Stack Bluetooth drivers, where can you download them?
EDIT: This WORKED using BLUESOLEIL!
Edit 2: >_>; of course it worked using Bluesoleil. Anyway will 0.26 have uploads as well? _________________

That's a different program that only works with Microsoft's Bluetooth stack. I quickly added the feature to GlovePIE so people wouldn't have to change their Bluetooth stack.
Uploading requires computing a checksum, and I think also duplicating the data in a second location. Which I couldn't be bothered to work out yet.
Of course if I look at the MiiTransfer program I should be able to work out why it works with the other Bluetooth stack and make GlovePIE work with it too. But I haven't done that yet. |

| Currently it only downloads from the first wiimote. Sorry. You should be able to disconnect the first wiimote and get the second to work though. |

MiiTransfer 0.9.1 (released 12/13) should work with most, if not all, BT stacks. |

| Cool ! Can you tell me what change you needed to make for that? GlovePIE users would be very grateful. |
