I can only get my new wiimote to work with GlovePie. Whatever I try I can't get my old wiimote to work at all. It has the blinking lights problem.
I'm using BlueSoleil BTW |

I can get both my Wiimotes (one new, one old) to connect and work fine. But only one at a time. I can't get both to connect. No idea why.
For those with the bluelights... turn of Bluetooth fix in glovepie and stuff like that. _________________ Java Coder... oh god...

| I'm using GBU221 (Broadcom 2045 chipset), and used it in both Win2000 and WinXP, both my Wiimotes are new ones, and both work, and they work at the same time. I'm using the Broadcom drivers (not the ones that came with the adapter) |

My Wiimote was one of the original Australian ones. It says CE0125. Admittedly the Australian launch was later than the US one (GlovePIE was released before Wiimotes were available here). But it was old enough to have the original strap (which broke and made a hole in my parents' ceiling). They wouldn't give me a replacement strap because they asked for my Wii serial number and I told them I didn't have a Wii. Anyway it says CE0125 and it works, so that is not the way to tell if it is a good one or not.
By the way, the Australian wiimotes can be recognised because they say "POO" on them. It is part of the FCC ID: POO-WC45. |

I picked up a wiimote that was released in japan. I've never actually set one of these up before, but when I run most scripts on glovepie, the cursor rolls up and to the left.
WiinRemote gives an "Error(5):Access is denied"
The info on the side of the remote reads as follows:
FFC ID: UMB-WCF7 IC:6719A-WCF7
If anyone else has one of these remotes and it does work, let me know. I'd hate to find out that the reason i'm having such problems getting this to work is that my wiimote was gimped by Nintendo. |
