I just saw the video of using the wiimote on an emulator and i really wanted to try it. So i started up Darwiin Remote 0.3.1 + SNES9X on my macbookpro and then got the wiimote sync'd up but I sadly came to find out that since 0.3.1 now has Buttons (1) and (2) mapped to turning the mouse functions on and off and not Page Up and Down like 0.1a I can't get the emulator to work...
So I know the dev wants to add that capability but I sure hope he does it soon. I really want to play Super Mario World with my Wiimote.
Also does anyone still have the 0.1a release installed on there Mac? If so can you send it to me through email or such, or tell me where I can find it? |

Use windows >_> Darwiin remote is meant to use the wiimote to replace a mouse not a gamepad.
definetely the best (and to my knowledge the only) way to play snes with your Wiimote is with glovePIE in windows. you can assign key presses or joystick buttons to wiimote buttons. _________________ _____-Neonez-_____ |

| I actually ended up finding DarwiinRemote 0.2a, which works great. (1) and (2) are Pg Up and Pg Down so I assign them to A and B in the emulators and the D-Pad accordingly. I love it, I can play contra, Kid Icarus, SMB, SMW 3, MarioKart, MarioPaint, Earthbound... amazing. I can't wait till they are on VC I defiantly want to play on a full TV. |
