| damn I join to your suffering, today I went to buy a new bluetooth dongle (and guess what, its the d-link dbt-122 C1), because the one that I have is like a really, really cheap one and not so good, but that one is able to recognize and connect my wiimote, but I spent 27 dolars in this piece of &%$!¿ so I will sell this one and buy another one that uses bluesoleil =___= |

Hi I have a DBT-122 as well I have the wiimote connecting, and I can see information being sent and received, however I cannot get glovepie or winmote to give me any button functionality.
I am using the drivers provided by d-link on the cd, and then using the broadcom update. |

| I think I finally got my wiimote connected somewhat, I could skip the pairing and click through. but on the wiimote all 4 leds are still flashing, and wiinremote and glovepie don't work, wiinremote when opened just says error (5) access is denied, I'm not really sure how to be using glovepie, but nothing on it seems to be working either, are the 4 leds supposed to keep flashing? and has anyone gotten blue soleil to work with the dbt 122? if so, what specifically did you do? |

| Bluesoleil just doesn't detect DBT-122 yet. I saw some inf mods that show the device to BlueSoleil, doesn't work. |

|
|
Hey guys, I had the same issues that most people did with version C1 of the D-Link DBT-122. BUT I have found the fix!
I haven't actually tested it outside of GlovePIE but i would imagine it works.
1. Uninstall stacks (Bluesoleil) and all driver/firmware updates.
2. Reboot computer
3. Install the drivers from the CD that came with it.*
4. Download: www.broadcom.com/products/bluetooth_update.php
5. Install "btwinitialupdate.exe" (if it fails, try again)
6. Now try to go to "My Bluetooth Places". I had to restart first, you might not have to.
7. If you need help connecting your Wiimote check out this link, it's very helpful! http://wiibrew.org/index.php?title=Wiimote_Tutorial
*If anyone lost their CD, I could make my drivers available...I think.
Good-luck! I dug-up the links and created this account just to post this for you guys, I felt your pain!!! |
