Hi,
I'm trying to connect my WiiMote to mij pc using my Sitecom Bluetooth 2.0 adapter, CN-521. When I install the drivers supplied I cannot connect at all, WiiRemoteJ supplies the following message:
| Quote: | | Bluetooth failed to initialize. There is probably a problem with your local Bluetooth stack or API. |
I removed the supplied drivers and let Windows (Windows XP Professional SP2) do it's thing. The devicemanager list a nice Generic Bluetooth Radio. When I run my application it states:
| Quote: | BlueCove version 2.0.2 on winsock
7-apr-2008 20:48:15 wiiremotej.WiiRemoteDiscoverer getWiiRemote
SEVERE: Error getting device!
java.io.IOException: WiiRemote failed to connect!
... |
I already know that Bluecove doesn't work with winsock, but I don't seem to get the right widcomm drivers. Does anyone have his WiiRemoteJ working with the Sitecom CN-521? |

I found a solution: I got WIDCOMM 5.0.1.801 from a friend, who got these drivers with another Bluetooth adapter. Installed these and it works fine now!
So if you have a Sitecom CN-521, search google for WIDCOMM 5.0.1.801 drivers. |
