|

I'd like to use my Wiimote with my home theater computer which doesn't have a keyboard or a mouse. (eg. it uses Media Center and is controlled from a remote control)
Ideally I'd liket BlueSoleil to start on boot (which is easy to do) but then automatically connect to my Wiimote. I'd also like GlovePIE to start and run in the background.
One problem I've discovered is that if I turn on my real Wii and press 1+2 on the Wiimote then it connects itself to the Wii and removes it's connection from the PC.
Can anybody help me with this? |

off the top of my head: two wiimotes and a wireless sensor bar (you have to get up to do stuff with it... maybe you can use the pc to output for that with a simple hack)
i'm pretty sure you can do some kind of vnc via the wii web browser, get your pc up and running, then turn the wii off?
i can't really think of any pragmatic solutions to your problem, sorry. |

| THe default solution to your problem would be to not turn on your wii untill the wimotes have connected to your pc. Do not be surprised at all if the wimote connect to the wii instead of your computer when both are availabel. Remember, they where designed to do that. |

yeah always turn the wii on after youve connected the wiimote to the pc and started running the glovepie script, that way the wiimote should never connect to the wii instead
you can also get the wiimote and glovepie to start all from one short cut file (which you could then put in your windows startup shortcuts folder, so it loads on boot) using a script called "Batch File Script Launcher" found here > http://www.wiili.com/index.php/GlovePIE:Batch_File_Script_Launcher
BUT ive not been able to get it working myself, and it means knowing how to make bat files and script properly and stuff, which i dont.... plus my main problem is the script just doesnt work for me, it has loads of errors in etc...
im going to post about the errors in that script tho and see whats going wrong |
