GameGuard is the detection service of many MMORPGs. I cannot get my Wii-mote to work with any of the GG protected games. I tried replacing keys with Wiimote buttons like the NES script and tried using PPjoy. All fail. Is there anyway to get around this? aybe included in the new version of GlovePIE?

I dont think that Glove Pie supports this because it clearly says in the license

Quote:
You may not use this software to cheat at online or multiplayer games. What constitutes cheating depends on the game and the server. Just using a different input device shouldn't be considered cheating, but complex scripted actions to make things easier may be considered cheating. Don't get GlovePIE banned

And mmorpg are Massive Multiplayer Online Rpg
I may be wrong, but this is what I think from my own understanding....

Sad Sadly enough I do believe it is impossible (at the moment) to use GlovePie with any GameGuard protected games. Due to excessive cheating through the use of bots (usually controlled through keyboard/mouse emulation) GameGuard was patched and now blocks almost all forms of keyboard emulation.

I brought this up with Carl some time ago because I really wanted to play Phantasy Star Universe with my Wii Controller and Nunchuk, but alas right now it is simply not possible. I've consulted other programmers and just can't figure it out. Phantasy Star Universe won't even acknowledge Windows' built in on-screen keyboard. You have to get to a certain type of input and I just can't find it yet.

I may check out Wiinmote or possible see if someone can help me with a C#/.Net program. I'll let you know if I can find anything.

Carl doesn't want GlovePie used to cheat and that's definitely respectable. Using the WiiMote isn't exactly cheating, but if it requires hacking the Anti-Cheating program... that's a bit like cheating. Meh, you know what I mean. Carl doesn't want to get GlovePie banned and I'd had to be one to cause such a thing to happen to such an awesome program.

Evil or Very Mad Overall, I hate Gameguard, but I hate all of those freaking hackers on PSO that kept stealing my EXP and items even more.

I guess all you can do is beg the developers to support the Wiimote themselves.

Clearly there are a lot of Wiimotes out there, and it wouldn't be too hard for them to add Wiimote support. Walaber added Wiimote support to his game pretty easily.

But the whole point of GameGuard is to stop applications sending input to the program. You won't be able to circumvent it for long.

Thats a really low chance, because there are only a couple thosand people that uses there wiimote on their computer(if im not mistaken), even the people that do have the controller wont know how to get it working on a computer
but: if the dcelopers allow wiimote support then mabye more people will buy more wiimotes.
