since you weren't able to get the exact components, could it be possible you got your stuff fried cause too much power went thru, or not being able to power on caude too little power is going thru? _________________ please put the scripts on the wiki so they dont get lost as new stuff is posted!

resistors are there to prevent too much electricity from flowing, without them, depending on your power source, you will either significantly reduce the lifetime of the leds, or will simply fry them the first time your power the thing on :/ _________________ please put the scripts on the wiki so they dont get lost as new stuff is posted!

| well they were only 2$ i guess so i dont mind if i lose them because they were cheap anyway |

I started using resistors on my sensor bar after I burned my first one in a small amount of time and had to resolder a bunhc of shit  _________________ please put the scripts on the wiki so they dont get lost as new stuff is posted!

Well i have been researching a bit and reading posts (read the first 4 pages of this topic also....),and this is my first post...yay....lol
im really in to buy a wiimote for PC...
i dont own a Wii, so i will only buy wiimote if IR works on PC....
so...it really works? can i use it as a pointer?
i work with electronics a bit so i can make myself a IR sensor bar....
