somthign I've noticed lately, after a few running/stopping/editing/running cycles GlovePIEmight start not likeing any floats, at first I thought I for some reason should use , instead of . to separate the whole part from the decimal part, this stops the error on lots of cases, but would make the script misbehave, dots are the indeed right one...

when that happens I save my script, and close GlovePIE (it often crashes when I close it after it gives me this bug), then I just load my script again and no errors being reported by gpie

ps: btw, is this the best way to get a gpie bug known by carl and by the rest of the users?

I had the same thing happen to me...
the first days I used GlovePIE it always told me that "0.3" (or similar values) would be no valid floats...
I tried the "," too, but that (of course) didn't work
after a few days however it stopped reporting errors and now it can handle "0.4" or "0.91273" or whatever just fine...

to work around this bug I now always use fractions instead of floats...
so instead of "0.1" I use "(1/10)" and instead of "0.75" I use "(3/4)" and instead of "3.33" I use "(3 + 3/10)" and so on...
for me I found that the best way to get rid of those "errors"

you're probably better off sending him an email or private message or something like that...
