You should pretty much never use the home menu, so it shouldn't be too annoying if it speaks when you use it. By the way, it doesn't say it every time you press the Home button, only when you single-click it. You can also double-click the Home button to reset the subscreen state when you are on the map screen. The home menu code works fine on Project 64 on my computer, but it won't work on other Emulators. If you are already fullscreen it should go to a window, otherwise it should go to fullscreen and then back to a window. That may sound mad, but the method to my madness is that only two shortcuts keys exist: Alt+O,F = FullScreen when windowed; Escape = toggle fullscreen/window. So there is only one way to force it go to windowed mode regardless of what mode it was in before, Alt+O,F then Escape. Unfortunately there needs to be a reasonable delay between the two, and if your computer is too slow it won't notice the escape key. And it deliberately takes you to the options menu.
Sorry about all the Say commands. Sometimes it is possible to be in an invalid state (for example if you press Nunchuk C without noticing that Naki wants to talk to you). So it can be useful to know what state you are in so you can fix it. You can comment them all out with the Search > Replace feature if you want.
What isn't working in the Nunchuk? If nothing on the Nunchuk works, you can usually fix it by unplugging it and plugging it back in. If only the joystick isn't working sometimes it is because PPJoy just refuses to work until you reboot the computer (you can check in the Joystick control panel if the joystick is working). Or it could be because PPJoy or the emulator isn't configured right, or because you calibrated the PPJoy virtual joystick in the game-controllers control panel to something stange. If the Nunchuk joystick is working but occasionally spikes in the other direction, that could be a bug in GlovePIE that I haven't encountered but one person claims is still there. If the Nunchuk is confusing spin attacks with throws then Twilight Princess is the same so just practice more. If the nunchuk isn't doing spin attacks, then that is a timing issue, adjust the settings at the top of the script or increase the final delay in the spin attack code. If the nunchuk isn't responding to rolls left and right correctly then make sure you keep the Nunchuk straight most of the time, and don't roll it too far when you want to do the Ocarina Mode or the shield-crouch. If you still can't get the Nunchuk to work, plug in the classic controller instead and use the classic controller like a Nunchuk.
What can't you select? In the OOT menus you need to use the nunchuk/classic joystick to select an item and then press A. Obviously if the nunchuk isn't working that could be a problem. Hopefully the steps above will fix it. If you want to cancel out of a menu, either shake the wiimote, or roll the nunchuk left and press the B trigger. |

Oops, sorry, I stopped using Trillian and started using Yahoo because that was what a friend I keep chatting with was using. I'll go back to running trillian more often.
BTW Did you notice I made the script work without a nunchuk? (actually I never got around to testing that, but it should work). |

I was trying to get it work by programming the arrow key to use it with the wiimote aiming
Can you help me with this
thx again

The IR is controlling the analog joystick. If the IR is off the screen, but was near the edge before then it holds the joystick full in that direction. Otherwise the joystick is set to a value based on the DIFFERENCE in IR position from the previous frame. If the difference is more than the maximum joystick position can do, then it remembers the left over amount and adds that on next time. |

Lol, yeah sorry about the troubles, ill try it again later, but could i ask you a question? Since youll be the only one to be able to answer it...
Could you tell me if mapping IR movement to a keyboard key is possible? Say for example you mentioned a commander keen script in your documentation that lets you move the wiimote down and left to open up his 'watch', so would this be possible to have for example the c-up button on zelda set to the pointing movement of IR? Im not too familar with PPJOY and im working on a HUGE emulation project, over 200gb of it i have... Anyway, i was wondering if this was possible, and possibly create a emulation game to have similar controls to red steel, I dont nessecarily expect you to post back after what a jerk i was, but please? I just want to give something back to the community and give people new ways to play, isnt that nintendo's campaign?
Oh and btw its NAVI, not naki |

It is possible in Windows Live Messenger to add Yahoo!-contacts! So this shouldn't be a problem anymore. |
