Already tried that but sadly it didn't work for me - the nunchuk doesn't work right from the beginning as long as this part of the script is active.
It's not a big deal though because the script seems to work without that part except the point-to-screen things. (However i didn't had the time to test it much...) |

Hi
Two things my wiimotes connected via windows Bluetooth as a Bluetooth HID Joystic. However the nunchuck's joystick doesnt work. When it does however the d-pad on the wii actually becomes the same as the joystick! Don't know why. Could you help me? Before this however my nunchuck was dead and reading what
viper said I removed this code causing the nunchuck to work again apart from the joystick.
if var.IRCount = 1 then
if wiimote.dot1vis then
Var.IRx = (1023-wiimote.dot1x)
Var.IRy = Wiimote.dot1y
Var.IRvis = true
else
Var.IRvis = false
end if
else
if wiimote.dot1vis and wiimote.dot2vis then
Var.IRx = 1023-(wiimote.dot1x+wiimote.dot2x)/2
Var.IRy = (Wiimote.dot1y+Wiimote.dot2y)/2
Var.IRvis = true
else
Var.IRvis = false
end if
end if
Thank you so much for the code i'd just got bored from completeing twilight princess 2 times so this gave me something to do. Thanks again |

I dont know, it looks like i need to set something with the axis, cus that is the only prob i get. i woule really like some help, it gets annoying from time to time.

Very promising, but I have a slew of VERY ANNOYING issues with it.
1) When I hold the nunchuk, I hold it at an angle, and I guess it's enough of an angle to register as wanting to use the shield. This is more of a personal preference thing though.
2) The switched controls for first person, item view, map, etc mess up a lot for me. And more to the point of the problem is when you press the map button or equip item button it seems to register it way too early.
3) Double Clicking the home button makes a lot of the controls not work. I know it's to reset the controls for problem #2, but for me it just kills the controls it seems and only lets me do basic things like c-buttons, horizontal slash, movement, and z-targeting. And even when I do use the double click on the home button to try and fix problem #2, the problem still persists.
Very great work though! |

Hey Carl could you possibly make the same script, just without the IR functions The older OoT scripts you've made, which is without IR is pretty much out-dated compared to this one... I don't have any IR solution so I can't really use this script
Also, (if it's not too much to ask) could you maybe check out the Smash Bros Script and the Mario Kart script, that i've posted on the scripts board? I haven't really got any response, and i'd really like to hear what people think about my scripts |

A lot of thanks, CarlKenner, your script is really the best script for Zelda: Ocarina of time.
It's perfect. I will not found more other scripts, yours is OK!
(i am sorry by my English, I am from spanish)

This looks amazing, though I would not know since I can't make it to fucking work. All the other Oot scripts I try work perfectly, but this one just don't. There is non respons at all. Neither of the buttons work, and yes I have changed the controls to default. What can this be? I've even tried to use the wiimote in Words while running the script, but it does not seem to corespond to the keyboard keys at all!
Anyone know what I might be doing wrong her?
Thanks  |
