I don't know about which guide is the best, but it depends on what you're using it for. Your TV? A laptop? A desktop?
I'd be happy to help if you have any questions. Take a look around at the stickied topic, you might not even need a guide if you get a good idea of how other people are doing it. |

Cheers, I already had a look at it; useful stuff but its been a good 8 years since my electronics course, and I've forgotten everything.
I'm mostly after something for PC experimentation, which means placing the ir sensors closer together, and doesn't need to be as high powered I suppose. |
