| ok so i just got a wiimote and a kensington usb adapter 2.0 model 33348. i used the "how to" on the wiili website for the kensington adapter. my computer detected and i followed all the step and pictures on the "how to" on the wiili website but wiinmote or glovepie wont detect it. it doesnt work when i try the motion sensor or IR tests on wiinmote and the wii remote doesnt move my cursor. PLEASE i would love suggestions/advice/comments/ ANYTHING that will get my wiiremote to work as a mouse or controller on my computer. |

perhaps the drivers for the wiimote didn't got installed or didn't got installed right, I'm not sure how to deal with this if this is the case, but I think there is possibily some tips about this on the forum
btw, are you sure you're connecting the wiimtoe right? have you tried holding 1 and 2 for a bit more after the conecting procedures for your bt stack are done? have you tried conecting with the red button instead of 1+2? tried using brand new/fuly charged bateries other thant he ones you tried at first? how about trying your wiiimote on other computers or another wiimotes on your vomputer? does it work with a Wuu console? _________________ please put the scripts on the wiki so they dont get lost as new stuff is posted!

Ah yes, this problem.. I have it too can't find a solution. I see many people having this.. and those who can use the IR and stuff, think that the Wiimote is not connected...
Well.. it is. Just there is some kinda bug that I dunno what it is... Infact IT might be the CE0125 thing. If there is a CE0125 written on the left side of your controller.. that might be the case. I'm not sure though, many people have said that the "CE0125 controllers" won't work.. but some say they do.
I think it might be GlovePIE or the Wiimote, or the Sensor bar. Sensor bar may not be compatible with the wiimote on a pc .. I don't know. Sorry if I cant help you, just informing a lot of people are having this issue, and almost no one has found out the answer. =( |

Hey ive got CE0125 remotes too and it works,
Try this http://www.lvr.com/files/SimpleHIDWrite3.zip connect to the remote then run the program and select the wii remote from the list (Device VID=057E PID=0306 it might be different for you).
If there are multiple of (Device VID=057E PID=0306) then glovepie can have problems, anyway after you clicked on it press some buttons on the remote and you should see some results come up.
If that did work in the boxes below type 12 for report id and 00 31 for the boxes after that (rest all 00) and click on write and it should stream data out including accelerometer data, if that works then reading and writing to the remote works and the problem is with glovepie or what ever your using.
