I'm not ready to solder yet, but I decided to go ahead and remove all of tri-wing screws and replace them with regular ones so that disassembly/reassembly is a much easier task later on. I've even made myself a special tool and it has worked quite well so far.
Now that I've got the outer plastic shell off, I can't see anymore tri-wings. Are there any left once you get in the case, or can I relax now? I don't want to take it apart any further than I have to. |

From what I've read, the tri-wings are only on the outside, so you should be set. I haven't actually had the chance to open my Wii up myself, though, so no guarantees. _________________ Cha0s |

As it turns out, you're correct. |
