| I'm pretty sure I'll be getting one for Xmas since I put it on my list and I have reason to believe that my GF will be getting it for me, but I want to make sure I get the right kind. It shouldn't matter what brand or anything right? I work at RadioShack, but we overcharge for everything (even with my discount, it's too much) so I suggested one off Newegg for $20. That shouldn't matter, right? |

Anything should work. The drivers are what's important. Get BlueSolei ones since they've been proven to work. _________________

| I just bought any old cheap one, and it worked fine. But mine came with bluesoleil drivers (I think most of the cheap ones do). If it doesn't come with bluesoleil drivers, the drivers that it comes with may or may not work. So you might need to hunt for some drivers that work with GlovePIE. |

Okay, here's a question I just thought of.
How do I know if it will work in Linux? I'm sure most Bluetooth dongles will work in OSX and Windows, but is there any way to know if they'll work in Linux?

This is the one I'm looking at, just for reference. It says it works with Windows and Macs, but no mention of Linux, which has me worried. I don't want to have to boot to windows to play with my Wii-mote on the computer, I use Ubuntu more. |

| Things rarely say Linux compatible. This is because the drivers are not made by them, but by the kernel devs. The chances of it not working are very slim. |

That's pretty much what I figured.
I was just a bit worried because I actually have seen things that say Linux compatible on them. SanDisk is one of the few companies that actually checks for that I guess. |
