1. xgl
i noticed from the youtube video that the distro used had XGL running on it, will WiiLi also have XGL?
2. installing software
if i have an external hard-drive or a flash-drive can i install software and have it still be installed after a reboot? |

1.- WiiLi should run XGL without problems.
2.- Everything installed on an external device like a flash-drive or USB hd will remain there. The source code, the installation package, and the actual executable files. |

| So will the WiiLi disk be editable as in skins, themes, programs? or will there be different distros for separate 'packages' of software? |

I imagine that it will be just as configurable as any linux distro out there running on any platform, you add programs you use, change wallpapers, do whatever you want to do to it.

What distro will WiiLi be based on? Will there be an easy-to-use package management system? Are there many programs for the Wii's march? Will the wiimote be able to be used as a mouse? Full USB support for all pnp peripherals?
